I am Taslima Mohamed, author of I Can: The Girl from the North. I deserve the Nova Excellence Award in Authorship and Publishing because I have used my writing to inspire, educate, and empower others. My book shares a powerful message of resilience, hope, and determination, especially for girls and young people facing challenges.

Beyond being an author, I am a youth mentor, community leader CEO Of Northern Lights Foundation and advocate for girls' empowerment and education. Through my mentorship, public speaking, and the Northern Lights Foundation, I have positively impacted many lives by encouraging young people to believe in themselves and pursue their dreams.

My work goes beyond publishing a book, it creates lasting change by giving a voice to the unheard, inspiring resilience, and promoting positive social transformation through storytelling. Receiving this award would be a great honor and a recognition of my commitment to using literature as a tool for empowerment and community impact.
