"The Vulnerable Man"
🎵 MS9TLA
Samuel Mbithi Mulavu is a Kenyan burn survivor, gender-based violence (GBV) survivor, and passionate advocate for mental health and disability inclusion. Through his platform, The Vulnerable Man, he has courageously shared his personal journey of recovery, resilience, and hope, inspiring countless people to speak up, seek support, and overcome stigma.
Despite enduring severe burns, multiple reconstructive surgeries, and significant life challenges, Samuel has turned his pain into purpose. He actively champions the rights and well-being of survivors, particularly men who are often overlooked in conversations around GBV and mental health. As a public speaker and peer mentor, he uses his voice to educate communities, encourage healing, and promote a more inclusive society for persons with disabilities.

"The Vulnerable Man"
🎵 MS9TLA
I am Samuel Mbithi, a Kenyan burn survivor, GBV survivor, and disability inclusion advocate. Through my platform, The Vulnerable Man, I use my personal journey of survival, healing, and resilience to inspire others to embrace their scars, speak up against abuse, and seek support without shame.
Having undergone 14 reconstructive surgeries, I understand the physical, emotional, and psychological challenges that come with disability. Rather than allowing my experiences to define my limitations, I have chosen to turn my pain into purpose by advocating for the dignity, mental health, and inclusion of persons with disabilities and survivors of gender-based violence.
